Victoria records 28 new cases, three deaths

Victoria has recorded 28 new cases and three deaths overnight.
The outbreaks across aged care facilities in Melbourne are linked to 24 of the state’s new COVID-19 infections. Victoria is the worst hit in Australia due to COVID-19 and has been cut off from the remaining part of the country and the world with an exception of few days.
The outbreaks include residents, staff or close contacts, with newly linked cases across the following aged care homes:
  • Churches of Christ Care Arcadia Aged Care Facility
  • Mercy Place Parkville Aged Care Facility
  • Princeton View Aged Care Facility
  • Opal Hobsons Bay Aged Care Facility
  • Glendale Aged Care Facility
  • Estia Heidelberg Aged Care Facility
  • Embracia Moonee Valley Aged Care Facility
  • Mercy Place Templestowe
  • Estia Keilor Aged Care Facility
  • Doutta Galla Woornack Aged Care Facility
  • Blue Cross Ruckers Hill Aged Care Facility
