A 17-year-old boy has been charged with murdering another boy following a brawl at a KFC store on the New South Wales North Coast.
Emergency services were called to the carpark of the fast-food outlet on Centre Street in Casino about 5pm yesterday, following reports of a brawl.
Police and paramedics found a youth suffering from stab wounds.
The boy died at the scene from his injuries.
Shortly later another 17-year-old boy was arrested and charged with murder, reckless wounding and affray.
He is due to appear at a Children’s Court today.
An 18-year-old man was taken to Lismore Hospital.
He remains in a stable condition.
