Teenager killed in stabbing incident in Sydney, man found dead in Melbourne home

A teenager has been fatally stabbed in Sydney’s west early this morning.
Emergency services were called to a home on Australis Drive, Ropes Crossing, shortly before 3 am this morning and found a 16-year-old boy suffering a stab wound.
Police attempted to revive the teenager before paramedics arrived.
The 16-year-old died at the scene. Police are investigating.
Police investigate death of man in Melbourne
Police are investigating the death of a man in Melbourne’s south-east yesterday.
Emergency services were called to a home on Ashby Drive, Dandenong North, about 7.20 pm yesterday and found an unresponsive man.
The man, who is yet to be identified, died at the scene.
A 46-year-old man was taken into custody and is helping police with the investigation.
Police said the two men are known to each other.
“The exact circumstances surrounding the incident are yet to be determined and investigations are ongoing,” Victoria Police said in a statement.
