Sushant Singh Rajput’s sea-view apartment up for rent

Sushant Singh Rajput’s Bandra residence is up for lease for Rs 4 lakh a month. The actor had rented the apartment for Rs 4.5 lakh a month in December 2019. A celebrity broker from Bandra said, “The apartment has been put up for lease but has yet to get a tenant.” The broker added, “Because of the pandemic, the property hasn’t received that many enquiries. The few interested buyers who have showed up have always enquired about Sushant Singh  Rajput.”

According to the realty firm looking after the property, SSR’s flat is spacious and the perfect abode for creative people. The broker reveals, “It is a beautiful sea view apartment and is ideal for creative minds and a good home from those who migrate to Mumbai for work. Once the pandemic ends and the world opens up to India again, we’re expecting renewed interest from expats and the corporate world, too. This house attracts people who like vibrations and the scenic view.” According to the realty firm, owners of the house are really not worried and are sure that the apartment is bound to go back on lease considering the location of the place.

Sushant’s apartment in Mont Blanc is spread over two storeys and the actor had rented it for 36 months and was supposed to live there till December 2022. SSR lived with his flatmates Rhea Chakraborty, Siddharth Pithani and house helps Neeraj and Keshav. He was found hanging in his bedroom on June 14, 2020 by Pithani who is currently under judicial custody in the Sushant Singh Rajput drug case.

The broker did reveal that some prospective tenants are put off by the fact that the house was earlier owned by an actor. But the owners are hoping that SSR’s case will not prove to be detrimental to the business prospects of the house in the near future.
