Punjabi singer Diljaan Singh killed in road accident, family in Canada

Punjabi singer Diljaan Singh (31) died in a road accident at Jandiala Guru around 2 am Tuesday morning. Diljaan’s wife and children are in Canada.

The police officials at Jandiala Guru police station stated that he was going from Amritsar to Kartarpur near Jalandhar in his Mahindra KUV 100 vehicle.

When he reached near Jandiala his vehicle collided with a truck parked on roadside. He was rushed to a nearby private hospital where doctors declared him brought dead.

The dead body of the singer has been sent for postmortem. Many reports claim that Diljaan’s car was in high speed when it collided with the divider and overturned.

He was a runner up in Sur Kshetra, a tv reality show in 2012. He also participated in Awaj Punjab di.
