Punjab Cong MPs slam Kejriwal for selling his conscience to BJP

Slamming the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) as ‘B’ team of BJP, leaders of Punjab Pradesh Congress Committee (PPCC) on Monday castigated Arvind Kejriwal for colluding with the Centre on the black Farm Laws and acting under their diktats to malign the Congress image.

In a statement issued here today, Congress MPs Mr Manish Tiwari, Mr Ravneet Bittu  and Mr Jasbir Singh Dimpa flayed Kejriwal for committing a fraud on farmers by implementing one of the vicious central farmer Laws in Delhi.

The PPCC leaders lambasted Kejriwal and his party for trying to mislead the people with their fake propaganda, using old pictures of Chief Minister Captain Amarinder Singh with Ambanis, and spreading lies and unsubstantiated accusations against the Congress, which had been standing with the farmers in their fight against the farm laws from day 1.

The AAP leadership had stooped to shocking lows by resorting shamelessly to fabrications and false statements, said the Punjab Congress leaders, adding that they would not let the evil designs of Kejriwal and his party to torpedo the farmers’ agitation at any cost.

Pointing out that everyone knew Kejriwal was a product of the BJP and was introduced into politics as a `dharna specialist’ to weaken the opposition in Delhi, the PPCC leaders said AAP’s nefarious gameplan of weakening the farmers’ agitation at the behest of the Central Government had been totally exposed by their act of notifying one of the Farm Laws in the national capital on November 23.

Coming on the heels of AAP’s U-turn in Punjab, where they initially supported the Chief Minister’s move to reject the Farm Laws in the state assembly, Kejriwal government’s notification showed their double standards and proved that the Delhi CM was nothing more than the Centre’s lackey.

Pointing out that AAP’s government in Delhi had been singing praises for Ambani’s power company’s initiatives in the national capital, the PPCC leaders said Kejriwal’s party had exposed itself completely with its baseless and patently false claims of Punjab government signing a sub-contract with Adani Power.

The whole of Punjab now knew Kejriwal to be a votary of politics of false propaganda, they said, adding that the Delhi CM’s web of deceit had been ripped apart with AAP’s pretensions of solidarity with farmers while they were actually busy backstabbing the Kisans.
