Detectives have released CCTV images of six men they wish to speak to as part of their investigation into a late-night Sydney stabbing inside a Darling Harbour cafe.
A 21-year-old man was stabbed and taken to hospital after a fight broke out inside a cafe at Cockle Bay Wharf, about 1.30am on Monday.
Police had been called to break up a large crowd outside the cafe, which had reached capacity, when they were told a group of males were fighting inside.
Police used pepper spray to break up the fight and found a man with stab wounds.
Officers arrested a 20-year-old man and paramedics were called to help the victim.
He was taken to St Vincent’s Hospital, where he remains in a stable condition.
The arrested man was taken to Day Street Police Station but was released as the investigation continues.
As part of that investigation, detectives released CCTV images of six men they believe can help with inquiries.
Detectives have urged anyone who recognises the men to contact police.
