Online applications invited from Punjab teachers for second-round transfers

The Punjab School Education Department has invited the application from school teachers for the second round of transfers. This request can be made on epunjab school portal by April 7.

Disclosing this on Tuesday, a spokesperson of the school education department said that as a result of the first round of transfers, various cadre posts of teachers have become vacant in many schools. Therefore, the department has invited applications for the second round of transfers from all the teachers who have not been transferred in the first round or who have got canceled their transfer after. According to the spokesperson, the teachers who did not participate in the selection process of the station under the first round of transfers have also been invited to apply against the vacant vacancies for transfers. Teachers who want mutual transfer can also apply online during this second round.

According to the spokesperson, the transfer request would be accepted online only and a teacher can apply only as per the list of vacant vacancies published on the website of the department.
