A 21-year-old man has been charged following an alleged road rage attack that unfolded outside a school in Melbourne’s west yesterday.
A shirtless man allegedly jabbed a wooden stake through a driver’s open window as students were leaving Melton Secondary College just before 3.30pm yesterday.
Police said the driver left the car and the pair exchanged blows as terrified witnesses ran from nearby cars.
Victoria Police said the altercation led to three other cars colliding “nose to tail”.
“A Melton man was arrested at the scene and has been charged with multiple offences including reckless conduct endangering life, affray and assault with a weapon,” Victoria Police said in a statement.
He has been remanded to appear in Sunshine Magistrates’ court on 16 March.”
