A person has been arrested and will be interviewed by homicide detectives following the death of a man in Melbourne’s west early Wednesday morning.
Detectives arrested a 45-year-old man in Seddon this afternoon.
The arrest follows the discovery of a dead 60-year-old Brooklyn man who was found inside a house on Primula Avenue in Brooklyn just after 3.30 am .
The deceased man is yet to be formally identified.
The Seddon man will now be interviewed by the Homicide Squad.
“The exact circumstances surrounding the man’s death are yet to be determined at this stage,” police said in a statement.
“At this stage detectives believe all parties are known to each other.”
Detectives have cordoned off the street and forensic crews have been seen searching the area.
