Election campaign for Municipal Corporations, Municipal Councils & Nagar Panchayats ends on Feb 12 at 5 pm

The election campaign for 8 Municipal Corporations and 109 Municipal Councils and Nagar Panchayats of the State of Punjab will end on 12 February 2021 at 05.00 pm.

 Disclosing this here today a spokesperson of the Punjab State Election Commission said that the election campaign would end on February 12, 2021 as per the election program announced on January 16, 2021.

 He said that the required election materials and EVMs would be hand over  to the polling parties on February 13, 2021 while voting will take place on February 14, 2021 from 08.00 am to 04.00 pm.

 The spokesperson said that the voters who would enter the booth by 04.00 pm would be given a chance to cast their vote.

 The spokesperson said that the counting of votes would begin at the counting centers on February 17, 2021 at 09.00 AM.
