Delegation of HP Zila Parishad Chairmen and Vice Chairmen Federation call on CM

A delegation of Himachal Pradesh Zila Parishad Chairmen/Vice Chairmen Federation led by the Rural Development and Panchayati Raj Minister Virender Kanwar and Chairman of the Federation Krishan Pal Sharma called on the Chief Minister Jai Ram Thakur at Oak Over today.

Chief Minister assured the delegation for sympathetically considering genuine demands of the Federation. He said that Zila Parishad was the most effective institution of Panchayati Raj and Government was committed to strengthen the same.

President of the Federation Krishan Pal Sharma thanked the Chief Minister for envisaging keen interest in strengthening the institution of Zila Parishad in the State. He urged the Chief Minister for increasing the honorarium of Chairmen and Vice Chairmen and members of Zila Parishad.
