COVID Vaccination Drive: 3859 Police Personnel vaccinated in Punjab

The total number of Punjab Police Personnel who have got COVID-19 vaccination reached 3859 in just 4 days with 1900 cops across the state getting the jab on Friday.

Ludhiana Police Commissionerate remained on top with 372 cops vaccinated in a single day.

Additional Director General of Police (ADGP) Law and Order Ishwar Singh, Inspector General of Police (IGP) Law and Order Ajay Kumar Pandey, two IGPs from Vigilance Bureau including Lakshmee Kant Yadav and Vibhu Raj besides four Senior Superintendent of Police (SSPs) and four Commandants were among the senior police officers to get the COVID-19 vaccine on Day 4.

Director General of Police (DGP) Punjab Dinkar Gupta appreciated all the Police Personnel, who are voluntarily coming forward to get themselves vaccinated to protect themselves as well as the citizens of Punjab from the COVID pandemic.

Meanwhile, the second phase of COVID-19 vaccination drive for Frontline Workers was launched by the Chief Minister Punjab Captain Amarinder Singh at Police Headquarters here on Tuesday.
