Chief Minister mourns demise of Badri Singh Bhatia

Chief Minister Jai Ram Thakur has condoled the demise of noted writer and litterateur of the State Badri Singh Bhatia who breathed his last at New Delhi today.

Badri Singh Bhatia hailed from Arki area in Solan district. He had penned over sixteen books on poetry, novels and short stories. He retired as Editor of Himprastha, a publication of Information and Public Relation Department, in the year 2005 and since then was active with his writing pursuits.

Chief Minister has also prayed to the Almighty to give peace to the departed soul and strength to the family members to bear this irreparable loss.

Director Information and Public Relations Harbans Singh Brascon and other officers and official of the Department also condoled the demise of Badri Singh Bhatia.
