Chandigarh Olympic Association authorises Rana Sodhi to represent in IOA

Chandigarh Olympic Association (COA) on Monday authorised its life president and Punjab Sports and Youth Services Minister Rana Gurmit Singh Sodhi to represent in Indian Olympic Association (IOA).

In a meeting here on Monday nder the Leadership of Rana Gurmit Singh Sodhi, members of COA presented a motion to authorise Rana Sodhi to represent COA in Indian Olympic Association during elections and take up other important issues, which is unanimously endorsed and passed by the 58 members of 29 Member Associations present in the meeting out of total 34 Associations.

On the occasion, office bearers have also been elected during the meeting. Vikram Singh has been elected as President of the Chandigarh Olympic Association, While Raghumit Singh Sodhi selected as Honorary Secretary and Roop lal Sharma as Treasurer. Apart from this Vijay Pal has been elected as Senior Vice President, Darshan Lal Sharma & Harjinder Singh Gill as Vice Presidents. Ranjan Sethi has been selected as Joint Secretary, whereas Tarlok Singh, Sunil Dutt Sharma, Kamaldeep Singh and Dr. R.S. Mann have been chosen as executive members.
