The CBSE exams for Class 12 to be held from May 4 to June 14 have been postponed. Besides, the CBSE Class 10 exams have been cancelled.
The results of Class 10 Board will be prepared on the basis of an objective criterion to be devised by the Board.
Prime Minister Narendra Modi held a meeting with the Union education minister and key officials on Wednesday to discuss the issue.
The exams were to begin from May 4 and there were demand by some leaders that they be cancelled amid an alarming rise in the Covid cases across the country.
