Australia defeated India by 4 wkts at the PCA Stadium Mohali in the 1st T20I on Tuesday evening.

Australia got off to an explosive start in the 209-run chase against India. Cameron Green smashed 61 off 30 balls as Australia at one stage were cruising in towards the target. However, brilliant bowling by Axar Patel and two wickets over by Umesh Yadav helped India fightback into the contest.

Hardik Pandya scored an unbeaten 71 off 30 balls to power India to a gigantic 208/6 after being invited to bat first by Australia . Pandya’s inning featured seven 4s and five 6s. KL Rahul, scored 55 off 35 balls; he had scored a half century against Afghanistan. Suryakumar Yadav added a quick 46 off 25 balls to India’s total.
