Anil Kapoor excited to become a grandfather, Sonam announces pregnancy

After Sonam Kapoor and Anand Ahuja announced their pregnancy on Instagram on Monday, Sonam’s parents Anil and Sunita Kapoor wished the parents-to-be. Anil Kapoor wrote in his post: “Now preparing for the most exciting role of my life – GRANDFATHER! Our lives will never be the same again and I couldn’t be more grateful! Sonam Kapoor and Anand Ahuja you have made us happy beyond measure with this incredible news.” Meanwhile, Sonam’s mom Sunita Kapoor wrote in her caption: “Of all the names I have been called am going to love being called NANI the best Yayy! Can’t wait to to be a NANI.”

Sonam Kapoor took to Instagram to share a few pictures with husband Anand Ahuja. It showed her cradling her baby bump while lying on the couch with Anand. Sharing the photos, she wrote, “Four hands. To raise you the very best we can. Two hearts. That will beat in unison with yours, every step of the way. One family. Who will shower you with love and support. We can’t wait to welcome you.” Sonam added the hashtags #everydayphenomenal #comingthisfall2022 with her post.

Multiple celebrities and fans wished the couple on their big news. Kareena Kapoor wrote, “Wohoooooooo soooo happy for you both. Can’t wait for the babies to play.” Dia Mirza wrote, “Such wonderful news!!! So happy for you.” Ananya Pandey wrote, “Congratulations.”
