80552 MT Wheat Procured on 29th day

The Government agencies and private Traders have procured 80552 metric tonnes of wheat in Punjab on 29th day of procurement.

Disclosing this here today, an official Spokesperson said  that out of the total 80552 procurement from various procurement centres in the State, the Government agencies procured  80413 MT of wheat 139 MT has been procured by the private traders (arhtiyas).

He further  said that PUNGRAIN has procured 26978.99 metric tonnes, MARKFED 20719 metric tonnes and PUNSUP procured  15687 metric tonnes while Punjab State Warehousing Corporation 7525.15 MT wheat respectively. The Centre government agancy FCI has procured 5620.1 MT wheat. Apart from this Pungrain Procured 3883 MT wheat for public  distribution in the Punjab.
