601423 MT Wheat Procured on 21st day

The Government agencies and private Traders have procured 601423 metric tonnes of wheat in Punjab on 21st day of procurement.

Disclosing this here today, an official Spokesperson said  that out of the total 601423 procurement from various procurement centres in the State, the Government agencies procured  599856 MT of wheat 1567 MT has been procured by the private traders (arhtiyas).

He further  said that PUNGRAIN has procured 84337 metric tonnes, MARKFED 110776 metric tonnes and PUNSUP procured  100565 metric tonnes while Punjab State Warehousing Corporation 49959 MT wheat respectively. The Centre government agancy FCI has procured 41717 MT wheat. Apart from this Pungrain Procured 13611 MT wheat for public distribution in the Punjab.

Progressive procurement by all the procuring agency is 108,79278 MT.
