318915 MT Wheat Procured on 24th day

The Government agencies and private Traders have procured 318915 metric tonnes of wheat in Punjab on 24th day of procurement.

Disclosing this here today, an official Spokesperson said  that out of the total 318915 procurement from various procurement centres in the State, the Government agencies procured  318851 MT of wheat 64 MT has been procured by the private traders (arhtiyas).

He further  said that PUNGRAIN has procured 71292 metric tonnes, MARKFED 77373 metric tonnes and PUNSUP procured  84591 metric tonnes while Punjab State Warehousing Corporation 44066 MT wheat respectively. The Centre government agancy FCI has procured 31529 MT wheat. Apart from this Pungrain Procured 10000 MT wheat for public distribution in the Punjab.

Progressive procurement by all the procuring agency is 11783182 MT.
